So, this inspiration is set among the typical Apulia olive trees fields, near Ostuni. Masseria Limonaia is the venue where this shoot takes place. An Elopement in Puglia inspired by lavender and lemon
Introducing an Apulian experience, filled with lavender and lemon scents. Lisa from Amethyst Fairytale Weddings, did a wonderful job designing the concept of this Apulia Elopement inspiration. In the first place, she took inspiration from two elements: lavender and lemon.
Lavender brings good luck whilst also being a symbol of love and devotion, making it a particularly meaningful flower to include in the decor. Moreover it also has calming properties, great for pre ceremony nerves!
Lemon is bright and pretty, a local fruit grown in the Mediterranean – and in the orchard of the villa itself. Furthermore they are considered a symbol of longevity, unity, love and happiness. So I thought the combination of lavender and lemon brought true meaning and life to my theme.

The concept behind this micro wedding in Puglia
Before let you fully dive into the photographs, here are some more information about the design concept. So I take this chance to say thank you to all the people who worked on this wedding editorial.
Finely curated floral arrangements
To begin with the florist Ilaria from Donna di Fiori, putting together the florals perfectly matching the theme. With this intention she used lilac roses, lavender, eucalyptus, soft rose curcuma, deep blue hydrangea and white limonium. Moreover some these flowers are freshly taken whilst out walking locally. Next, the unique table centerpiece is tall and colorful, with lots of greenery and lemons details. To conclude with the floral arrangements, here is the arch. This setting shows delicate decorations in the 3 corners with floral arrangements and a collection of lemons in the 4th corner. This is definitely a dream ceremony setting for an elopement in Puglia.
A welcoming dinner table for a dream elopement in Puglia
Following the ceremony, here is the dinner table. The mise en place features golden under-plates and cutlery, lavender colored glasses, olive branches and sprigs of lavender splayed across the table on either side of the floral centerpiece. The wedding favors are lavender and lemon organic soap bars. In conclusion, here is a wedding cake decorated with the main theme elements and sugar frosting. The cake sits on a linen tablecloth decorated with olive branches and lemons.

The wedding dress is a Made in Italy creation by Lucrezia Alta Moda Sposa, created for young and romantic brides. The softness of the fabric, the weave on the bodice and the three-dimensional flowers on the shoulder make this dress elegant and sophisticated. Furthermore the flower detail on the dress also matches perfectly with the hand-crafted clay florals in the crystal flower tiara. In addition to this, here is a romantic and sophisticated headpiece by SC Bridal Designs. Each flower centre shows accents with lilac Swarovski crystals. To conclude with Hair and Make-up that beautifully highlights the details of the dress and natural beauty.
