A curated selection of Wedding Venues in Apulia
A brief introduction
This post is for all the brides looking for the ideal wedding venue in Puglia, to celebrate their wedding day with that organic Southern Italian flavor this wonderful region gives.
First of all, if you are here for the first time, nice to meet you! I’m Sergio Sorrentino, a Destination Wedding Photographer based in Italy. You can have a look to some of my works here.
Apulia, or Puglia in Italian, is one of my favorite regions. In fact it is famous worldwide for many iconic highlights. With more than 800 kms of stunning coastline, dotted with some of Italy’s most beautiful beaches, you can see why people would want to have their wedding in Puglia. The unique landscapes fulfilled of olive trees fields meet the sea in an harmonic composition. Therefore on this lovely setting you can find welcoming Masserie that can be the perfect venue for your Wedding Day.
So, here are some of my favorite locations and venues for your Wedding Day in Puglia.
Masseria Torre Coccaro
Masseria Torre Coccaro is an ancient and elegant venue located on a large estate overlooking the sea where there are two private beach clubs. The 17th century fortified tower was built by the Knights of Malta in order to protect themselves from invasion. The tower offers stunning views of the sea and sunsets. Perfect for your wedding in Apulia.
It’s possible to celebrate in the gorgeous garden underneath the carob trees. Next you will enjoy a vast aperitif in the ancient Piazza under the old tower and next to the ancient chapel dating back to 1730. It will be like a real village feast with live stations of chefs and music under a sky of lights. There is a marquee where dedicated to the wedding breakfast with a special ending for the cake cutting in the courtyard; surrounded by the fortified walls covered with pretty bougainvillea. You can then party the night away in the cave like olive mill.
If you prefer to have a beach ceremony, then this is possible at one of the private beach clubs, otherwise you could host your pre/post wedding event by the sea. As there are many options at Masseria Torre Coccaro, this is one of the Wedding Venues in Apulia I highly recommend.

Pettolecchia La Residenza
Built in the area of Fasano in 1800 by the Noble Palmieri as a country residence, La Residenza has been recently renovated and totally refurnished to the highest standards of luxury, taking into account the needs of a demanding clientele. So, this location is ideal if you are looking for a peaceful and rural holiday without giving up everyday comforts. This is absolutely one of my most loved Wedding Venues in Apulia.
The Villa offers 5 suites set on two floors, with panoramic terraces and a large swimming pool. Furnished with very high-quality furniture, carefully placed to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. One of the highlights is a beautiful setting overlooking 8 hectares of olive trees as far as the eye can see towards the sea. In addition to this, the villa also boasts a shaded outdoor gym, its own fruit and vegetables garden. So guests can experience zero-kilometer cuisine and two alfresco dining areas.
Every corner of the property is yours to enjoy and explore. Celebrate in the sprawling green gardens or in the groves of ancient olive trees. So you could welcome your guests to the Masseria and enjoy an aperitif in the courtyard. Or maybe enjoying together stunning sunset views from the roof terrace. Or even more, experience a gala dinner under the stars, followed by an open bar.
Guests staying at the Masseria will also have private access to the beach club Pettolecchia Il Lido.

Pettolecchia La Fortezza
This fortified Masseria takes place in one of the most beautiful and sun-drenched area of Apulia. The estate from the 15th Century, borns as an agricultural structure made specifically to the production of olive oil. The fortress has played host to the many populations who have dominated the region: Romans, Byzanite, Lombardic, Saracen.
Today, the fortress is undergoing careful restoration to its former glory. So it will soon become an exclusive hub for cultural-social events and weddings. This location will be fully ready as a Wedding venue in Apulia by early 2022.
Your wedding up to 250 guests can be celebrated outside in the courtyard overlooking the fortress. In case of bad weather, it’s possible to host the event inside the tower or the Ancient Old Mill.

Pettolecchia La Piccola
Located in Savelletri of Fasano, along the Apulian coastline and just 200 meters from the sea. La Piccola has been recently renovated and totally refurnished to the highest standards of luxury. The Villa set in 150 square meters of structure furnished with very high-quality furniture. As well as three bedrooms on 2 floors. Each room has private entrance and ensuite bathroom designed with luxury fine décor.
The Villa facilities include a fully-equipped and heated swimming pool with a bar, panoramic terrace and outdoor dining. Moreover you can find bicycles and vast garden space set on 5 hectares of private land. Private access via property grounds to Pettolecchia Il Lido, one of Puglia’s most exclusive beach clubs.
Furthermore the Masseria boasts a breathtaking sea view from every corner of the villa. Together with five hectares of olive groves at guests’ disposal. In order to ensure a completely enjoyable experience, a spacious sea-facing outdoor patio equipped with a wood-fired pizza oven. This could be perfect also for a rehearsal dinner or a pizza party. Another highly recommended venue for a Wedding in Puglia. I could see it as a great choice for an intimate wedding celebration or an elopement.

Castello Marchione
Castello Marchione is a romantic castle wedding venue in Apulia with a fairytale atmosphere. A very characteristic wooded environment allows you to host your wedding banquet creating a charming and idyllic ambiance.
Furthermore it has large and elegant interior spaces where the banquet can be held in the colder months. This could be also a beautiful plan B option.
In the eighteenth Century it was used as a hunting lodge and summer residence of the Acquaviva d’Aragona, counts of Conversano. The venue hosts exclusive weddings in Apulia and unforgettable events since 1993.
